That New Guy Music

Slap & Dash – Mixin It Up For Discobelle

Slap & Dash rip through 60+ tunes in under an hour with their new mix for the Discobelle blog… this is straight up mash madness! In my opinion, this is the tightest house mix I’ve heard since the Major Lazer Essential Mix… There dudes run through a shit ton of different genres from hard and clubby beats to fun and tropical. Do not sleep on this utter hotness, download this now and Enjoy!

VIA Slap & Dash: “This mix is a great example of the bat shit crazy live shows we put together, backed up by dancers, costumes and a killer VJ all mixed live on four Technics 1200’s. We really tried to translate the energy of our show here, and give the listener the best opportunity to understand where club music culture is going in Melbourne at the moment…” Read the complete mix notes here.

Just over at the Discobelle blog, and found this little tasty treat… Looks like Claude Von Stroke (really on fire right now!) is doing a little guest blog on Discobelle while he does his European Tour… This week he talks about playing Paris and Manchester, some tunes that tore the houses down and a bit of tech…. I urge you to follow this article, as the beginnings of if seen very interesting, especially the part when he talks about playing the Manchester show, and was like,

“The front row was especially enthusiastic and i expect there were some people tripping balls cause i watched them run their fingers down the front of their faces like some real drugs were hitting their systems.”

Sounds like a truly cool dude… Check Week #1 Here!
