Well… Finally back in good old sunny Florida and what better first post can I give to you than probably the only music related thing I did while out in the U.K.. LOL! If you want to hear me stumble on air, here’s a recording of a radio show I appeared on… Future Shock Radio, Ipswitch Community Radio (IRC 105.3 FM) Hosted by my man Martin Evolvah.

On Til’ Dawn event called Mas Carne (10/25/09)
Let me just tell you that Mas Carne is Old Skool, it’s a super-cool daytime event at the end of every month with awesome food and people right on Ft. Lauderdale beach (think bikinis and volleyball), directly behind the famous Yankee Clipper Hotel. So if your in South Florida at the end of any month, come party, don’t miss it!!! I was planning on releasing this as my latest (and greatest) promo so me and the guys at On Til’ Dawn (much props to Cory!) thought we’d give it a proper releasin’ and do a bit of shameless self-promotion at the same time.
This is my first ever live Ableton® set (don’t get scared, it’s bangin’!)… after hearing absolutely bafflingly tight Ableton Live® sets from cats like Diplo, Switch (Major Lazer), HiJack, Douster and Breakbot, I was heavily inspired to learn to use Live®. Not like mine in any way compares to their’s, I just used a mouse, no controllers. All live, nothing was pre/post sequenced.
I am a traditional dj of 11 years but I am also a techonlogy nerd. I feel they really hit the mark with Ableton Live® 8 and feel this is just the beginning of the digital evolution for djing. I really wouldn’t call this djing though, because it’s more like live remixing… Great application and plan to do review soon.

Lucky bastards that pre-ordered… To tide you over, I’m giving the tune that was never supposed to make it to the comp.
